Writer's Block is Real (Creativity Block Isn't)

I know it's been a hot minute on this site. Only a few written reviews in the last year? What is up with that? It's because I've been suffering from long-term writer's block. It's not pretty. It's not sexy. But it exists. Thankfully, I've found some freedom in video creation. I recently rebranded my YouTube channel from my real name to 'iCritic,' officially making it an extension of this blog. I haven't done much integration in that regard, but it was a first stop. Now we go forward with the full integration of this blog with the social media revolution, and there are more ways than ever to get my thoughts on the film and the entertainment industry. For those who want to follow me on social media, I can be found on the following sites:

Bluesky: @icritic.bsky.social

Discord: iCritic Chat

Letterboxd: KevinTRod

Mastodon: @KevinTRod@mastodon.sdf.org

Second YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@icriticmedia770

Please note that our Facebook page is not yet back up, and I'm debating whether or not I want to get back into that whole site (I know Threads is a division of Meta but...eh, I'm trying it out for the time being). These are sites where I have been micro-blogging and (more importantly) making video reviews for various movies. I will soon be sharing those videos on this blog as well, and I will be sharing posts like this on other sites. Also, a website re-theme may be in the near future, so keep an eye out for that!

While I haven't been writing much these days, I still get the itch to put digital pen to digital paper from time to time, but going forward reviews will be a mixture of written and filmed. The content should be shared across all these various platforms though, so subscribe to as many as you want to,  and I will continue to discuss my main passion, going to the movies! Thanks for sticking around, and I look forward to seeing you soon!
