The second of three Roger Rabbit cartoons, this was the only short to receive a PG rating. While funny and full of energy, this is where the Roger Rabbit shorts wound up in trouble. Steven Spielberg wanted the short to be released alongside "Aracnaphobia," his companies first joint production with Disney's subsidiary Hollywood Pictures. Disney CEO Michael Eisner instead released the short before "Dick Tracy," which the studio was hoping to be a big franchise for the studio. Upset at not getting his way, Spielberg canceled the forth short while it was in post-production and only one more finished short would be completed.
